The LDV Mifa 9 is a game-changer in the Australian people-mover segment, offering a luxurious and all-electric solution for large families or businesses that need to transport multiple passengers in comfort. This 7-seater challenges the traditional people-mover market by focusing on premium features and a zero-emissions powertrain.

Powering all variants of the Mifa 9 is a single electric motor that drives the front wheels, producing 180 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque. This provides a smooth and quiet driving experience. All models are equipped with the same large 90 kWh battery pack, which offers a WLTP driving range of up to 440 km for the entry-level Mode variant. The Executive and top-spec Luxe variants, due to their higher level of equipment, have a slightly shorter range of 435 km and 430 km, respectively.

The lineup is differentiated by its level of luxury and technology. The entry-level Mode variant is far from basic, offering a host of standard features including a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wired Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, and a comprehensive suite of safety features, which helped it achieve a 5-star ANCAP safety rating.

Stepping up to the Executive model adds a number of features that enhance comfort and convenience, such as electric sliding doors and an electric tailgate, a dual sunroof, and a wireless phone charging pad.

The flagship Luxe variant is where the Mifa 9 truly shines as a luxury people-mover. It features heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, and the second row is upgraded to individual “captain’s chairs” with similar heating, cooling, and massage functions, as well as a footrest. The Luxe also gains a premium 12-speaker sound system and a digital rear-view mirror.

The Mifa 9 supports both AC and DC charging. Using a home wallbox, it can be fully charged in about 8.5 hours. When connected to a DC fast charger, it can go from 30% to 80% charged in approximately 36 minutes. This blend of luxury, practicality, and electric performance makes the LDV Mifa 9 a compelling and well-equipped choice in the Australian market.
