The Tesla Model 3 has been a game-changer in the Australian market since its debut in 2019, consistently ranking among the best-selling electric vehicles. The latest evolution, the refreshed “Highland” Model 3, represents a significant step forward, bringing with it a host of hardware and software improvements.

For the 2024 model year and onwards, the Model 3 received a substantial redesign, focusing on improved ride comfort, handling, and aerodynamics. The Australian lineup currently consists of three variants:

• The entry-level Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive remains an impressive package, offering a WLTP driving range of 513 km and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.1 seconds.
• The Model 3 Long Range features a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup. It delivers a WLTP driving range of up to 629 km and a quick 0-100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds.
• At the top of the range is the new Model 3 Performance. This high-performance hero features an upgraded performance drive unit, new sports seats with ventilation, adaptive suspension, and a range of unique exterior design changes, including a rear carbon fiber spoiler and a rear diffuser. It is the quickest Model 3 yet, with a blistering 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.1 seconds, while still offering a very respectable WLTP range of 528 km.

Tesla Australia is currently offering special incentives to attract buyers. For a limited time, the company is providing discounts of up to $4,950 off select inventory Model 3 vehicles. This offer is valid for orders placed and delivered by September 30, 2025, and provides an excellent opportunity for customers to get into a new Model 3 at a reduced price.
