The new generation Hyundai Kona Electric has arrived in Australia, and it’s a significant step up from its predecessor. Built on a new platform that was designed with electrification in mind from the start, this small SUV offers a lot more of everything—more space, more technology, and more range. This new approach has allowed Hyundai to create a much more compelling and practical package for Australian buyers.

The Standard Range model is equipped with a 48.6 kWh battery and a 99 kW electric motor, offering a WLTP driving range of 370 km. This makes it an ideal option for city driving and daily commuting. It also comes standard with a space-saver spare wheel. The Extended Range models add another layer of utility with a braked towing capacity of 750 kg, which is a rare and welcome feature in this segment.
