The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is the more rugged, higher-riding counterpart to the Taycan sedan, offering a blend of sports car performance and the versatility of an all-road wagon. It’s designed for those who want the exhilarating driving experience of a Taycan but need a bit more ground clearance and practicality for adventurous weekend getaways.

For the 2025 model year, the entire Taycan lineup, including the Cross Turismo, has received extensive updates. These revisions focus on enhancing performance, efficiency, and range. All Taycan Cross Turismo variants are now equipped with the same high-capacity 105 kWh (gross) Performance Battery Plus, ensuring impressive driving range across the board. The Australian lineup consists of three dual-motor, all-wheel-drive variants:

• The entry-level Taycan 4 Cross Turismo produces 320 kW of power and 610 Nm of torque in Launch Control, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Thanks to the updated powertrain and a new, more efficient rear motor, it boasts a WLTP driving range of up to 601 km.
• The mid-spec Taycan 4S Cross Turismo steps up the performance, delivering 440 kW of power and a huge 820 Nm of torque in Launch Control. This cuts the 0-100 km/h time down to a swift 3.8 seconds, with a WLTP range of up to 572 km.
• At the top of the range is the breathtaking Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo. This variant is a true powerhouse, with a dual-motor setup that produces a massive 650 kW of power and 940 Nm of torque in Launch Control. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in a blistering 2.8 seconds.

A key enhancement for the 2025 models is the updated 800V electrical system, which now supports DC fast-charging speeds of up to 320 kW—a 50 kW increase. This allows the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes under ideal conditions. All Cross Turismo models also now come standard with adaptive air suspension, allowing for a variable ride height and an “Off-Road” mode for navigating unpaved roads and gravel tracks with greater confidence.
