Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand from Geely, is rapidly expanding its Australian lineup with the imminent arrival of the new 7X mid-size SUV. This vehicle is positioned to sit above the Zeekr X, bringing a new level of luxury and performance to the highly competitive segment. The Zeekr 7X is now available for pre-order, with customer deliveries expected to commence in October 2025.

Zeekr has revealed three variants for the Australian market, all of which are built on an advanced 800V electrical architecture that enables class-leading charging speeds.

• Zeekr 7X RWD: This entry-level model starts from a very competitive $57,900 plus on-road costs. It’s powered by a single rear-mounted motor producing 310 kW and 440 Nm of torque. This is paired with a 75 kWh LFP (Lithium-Iron Phosphate) “Golden Battery” that provides a WLTP driving range of up to 480 km.
• Zeekr 7X Long Range RWD: For an additional $6,000, this variant is priced from $63,900 plus on-road costs. It retains the same powerful rear-wheel-drive motor but features a larger 100 kWh NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery pack, which boosts the WLTP driving range to an impressive 615 km.
• Zeekr 7X Performance AWD: This top-spec model is priced from $72,900 plus on-road costs. It adds a second motor to the front axle for a combined output of 475 kW and 710 Nm of torque, allowing for a blistering 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.8 seconds. This variant also uses the 100 kWh battery, giving it a WLTP range of 543 km.

All models feature an 800V electrical system, which allows for ultra-rapid DC charging at up to 450 kW. This means the 7X can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 13-16 minutes. With a blend of stunning performance, a long driving range, and aggressive pricing that undercuts rivals like the Tesla Model Y, the Zeekr 7X is poised to be a major player in the Australian mid-size electric SUV market.
