Zeekr, the premium electric brand owned by Geely, has made its Australian debut with the stylish and tech-packed Zeekr X compact SUV. The X is a key vehicle in the brand’s Australian launch and is built on the highly adaptable Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which also underpins the popular Volvo EX30, Polestar 4, and the Smart #1 and #3.
The Australian lineup for the Zeekr X features two variants, both equipped with the same 66 kWh battery pack.
- The entry-level Rear-Wheel Drive model is powered by a single motor that produces 200 kW of power and 343 Nm of torque, which allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. It has a generous ADR driving range of 540 km.
- The high-performance All-Wheel Drive variant features a dual-motor setup that boosts power to 315 kW and 543 Nm of torque. This allows for a blistering 0-100 km/h time of just 3.8 seconds, putting it on par with some of the fastest EVs on the market. Its ADR driving range is 470 km.
Following a strategic price reduction, the Zeekr X is now positioned even more competitively in the market, with starting prices now below comparable variants of the Volvo EX30 and Smart #1. The rear-wheel-drive model is priced from $49,990 plus on-road costs, while the all-wheel-drive variant starts at $62,900 plus on-road costs. This makes it a very compelling value proposition for buyers looking for a premium, high-performance, and feature-rich electric SUV.

Zeekr X rear-wheel drive | $49,900 | 440 km | 66 kWh |
